Biography Anthony creates handcrafted furniture and cabinetry inspired by the Arts and Crafts Movement. He owns and operates A. Fortner Woodshop and has worked on many of the Greene and Greene homes in Pasadena, and built a commissioned piece of furniture for the Gamble House. His furniture can be found at the Old Mission in San Gabriel, as well as at churches in the area. Anthony is a graduate of Pasadena City College and California State University, Long Beach. He began as a part-time instructor at Cerritos College and in 1999, became a full-time instructor. Anthony willingly shares his passion for woodworking and his expertise with his students, who have received numerous awards at the local, state and national levels in shows and gallery competitions. Anthony lives in South Pasadena with his family in a 1911 California bungalow, restored by friends and family.
