BA 108 Labor Mgmt RelationsCourse Description:This is an introductory course in labor-management relations for supervisors
and union shop stewards. It focuses on collective bargaining and the functions
of management, unions and labor agreements. An in-depth study will be made of
the Labor Management Relations Act as amended, the National Labor Relations
Board, and the Landrum-Griffin Act. Special attention is given to grievance
procedures and arbitration cases. Negotiations of a collective bargaining
