Subject: Page does not
open when clicking on a link |
Question: When I click on a link nothing happens. |
Answer: Many links will open a popup or new window, if that is the case and you are running a third party popup blocker you will need to either disable it or check the programs documentation on how to temporarily disable it (many times it is holding the shift key down while clicking the link). If you are running Windows XP with Service Pack 2, Internet Explorer comes with a built in popup blocker. When visiting a website if you notice the information bar appear at the top of your browser window. Internet Explorer is letting you know that it has blocked a popup. Simply click the Information bar and select Temporarily Allow Popups. Now your Information bar should notify you that popups are being temporarily allowed and you may click on the link that will launch the new window or popup. |
