Spring Classes
The Spring semester for 2013 runs from Monday, January 14th through Friday, May 17th. The following week is reserved for final exams. The mandatory orientations for these classes are the first meetings at 5:00 PM in SS-139. The midterm exams are during the 10th meetings (week of 3/18) and the final exams are after the end of instruction (week of 5/20). Check all of your final exam times in the Schedule of Classes and with all of your instructors (at all institutions you are attending) in advance to avoid any potential conflicts.
Students will be dropped if they fail to meet the attendance requirements. Click on the Syllabus for your course (linked above) and take special note of the Policies and Schedule of Meetings page links. In addition to the orientation, all students (including online students) must also take their midterm and final exams on campus on the days and times indicated in the Schedule of Meetings. Also, students that miss any attendance (according to your manner of attendance as described on the Policies page) during the first two weeks of instruction will be immediately dropped to make room for other waiting students.
