HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS

There will be weekly homework assignments, each worth 10-20 points.                              200 Points
All assignments must be turned in complete and on time to receive full credit.                                         

QUIZZES

                There will be 11 chapter quizzes.  Each will be worth 20 points.  One quiz will be dropped.

  NO MAKEUPS.                                                                                                         200 Points

EXAMS

Four exams will be given.  Each will be worth 50 points.    NO MAKEUPS.                         200 Points

The final grade will be determined from homework assignments, quizzes, and exams.

224 = B
196 = C 
168 = D 

TOTAL POINTS (DEVELOPING PROOFREADING AND EDITING SKILLS)  = 320

288 = A
256 = B
224 = C
192 = D

TOTAL POINTS POSSIBLE (Final Grade):   600 POINTS

A = 540
B = 480
C = 420
D = 360
